President Trump is expected to announce emergency approval of convalescent plasma as a new remedy for COVID-19.
With the president mocking an announcement at a White House press convention scheduled for 5:30 p.m. One night before the start of the Republican National Convention, the Washington Post reported that it would communicate on convalescent, antibody-rich plasma that could potentially be used against coronavirus disease. It has been used in more than 70,000 patients in the United States and may be used more widely with the president’s action.
