After Dr. Anthony Fauci testified in Congress Friday that the United States continued to see an increase in cases, while Europe has further domesticated its epidemic, because the United States has never completely closed, President Trump called the lead doctor about the disease a tweet. Saturday, falsely stating that the United States has “more cases because we have tried more than any other country.”

During the testimony, The Fauci asked why Europe had controlled to tame its epidemic, while the United States continued to see a dramatic increase in cases.
Fauci explained that Europe had closed 95% of its economy when the virus first spread, while the United States “functionally” shut down about 50%.
Trump claimed that Fauci had a “grievance” and repeated a misleading point of discussion that the increase in the number of cases in the United States is due to an increase in evidence.
While the United States has conducted more testing than any other country in the world, the positivity rate, according to epidemiologists’ statistics, is a larger measure of the scope of an epidemic, has increased, indicating that the virus is spreading rapidly.
Some European countries, such as France, have recently noticed a backup of cases, but this pales in relation to the duration of the epidemic in the United States, while countries like Germany have not had to control as much as the United States because they were able to get to their outbreak early.

The White House later said he was talking “joking,” but the president then said he was “not joking.”
