The White House gift shop, which is affiliated with the White House, has begun receiving advance orders for a commemorative coin “President Donald J. “Trump beats COVID. “
The newest work in a series of pieces marking moments from Trump’s first presidential term, the play celebrates its “promotion and non-public defeat of the fatal pandemic COVID virus,” the gift shop said.
The coin is priced at $100. No there were photographs of the piece on the website.
The design of the piece was driven through superhero graphic art, said Anthony Giannini, author of the series and CEO of the gift shop, on a website.
“Like it or not, President Donald J. Trump is strong on a mythical level,” he read, and goes on to say that the coin’s design was deliberately retained until its launch.
