The institution’s spokesman, Luis José López Mena, said that the provision applies to passengers of all nationalities, Dominicans residing abroad.
“As of the 15th of this month, no major tests will be performed against the coronavirus as it is being performed, however no examination will be required of passengers, before authorizing their access to the country,” Mena said.
It also indicated that, if necessary, random immediate implementation tests would be carried out, as established through the provision of the Official Commission implementing the Covid-19 protocol and adequacy measures.
Aerodom’s executive said that from that date on, the government will introduce health insurance for all foreign visitors staying in the country.
