A report by the Human Sciences Research Laboratory at the Yale School of Public Health, cited by “UNIAN”, shows a shocking statistic: more than 2,400 young Ukrainians have been kidnapped in Belarus since the start of the Russian invasion. This highlights a disturbing trend of abductions of young people between the ages of 6 and 17 in the partially Russian-occupied regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.
These young people were transferred to thirteen centers spread across Belarus, the “Dubrava” youth center in the Minsk region, which houses more than 2,000, as reported by Reuters.
The report implicates Russia and Belarus, alleging coordinated efforts between the two governments to identify, encircle, send and indoctrinate Ukrainian children. Collaboration would be facilitated through the two schemes, suggesting joint coordination and funding.
According to experts, the shipment of these young people to Belarus via Russia was orchestrated in collaboration between Presidents Putin and Lukashenko.
In a legal move, the International Criminal Court in The Hague has issued an arrest warrant for the Russian Commissioner for the Rights of the Child, Maria Lvova-Belova, as well as the Russian president. They are accused of illegally deporting Ukrainian children.
Earlier calls from members of the European Parliament suggested the International Criminal Court issue an arrest warrant for Lukashenko. His alleged involvement in the illegal abduction of young people has attracted foreign attention.
Disturbing videos have surfaced from the “Dubrava” center, showing singers encouraging young people to wish harm on certain leaders, such as Biden, and selling Putin on Ukraine.
