Tourist sites multiply in China amid Covid’s foreign restrictions

Tourist attractions in China are proliferating this week as millions of revelers celebrate Golden Week, a national holiday held after the country’s national holiday on October 1.

Some six hundred million domestic tourists, about 40% of the population, are expected to travel to China during the holidays amid limited foreign travel due to the coronavirus pandemic.

National Day commemorates the creation of the People’s Republic of China on October 1, 1949, when the Chinese Communist Party began the Chinese Civil War.

China observes consecutive days of nationalArray known as Golden Week, around the national one held on the continent, in Hong Kong and Macau.

In addition to the Chinese New Year, Golden Week is the longest national in the country.

The call is given to the week that falls towards the beginning of autumn, which in China is characterized by transparent weather and smart temperatures.

This encourages many other people to tour the country, attracting massive crowds to popular tourist destinations.
