ANKARA (Reuters) – The total number of coronavirus cases in Turkey has increased to more than 250,000, with 1,233 new cases known in more than 24 hours, as Monday showed knowledge of the ministry of fitness, as the number of deaths from the virus was close to 6,000.
Data show that another 22 people have died in the last 24 hours in Turkey, bringing the death toll to 5,996, while the total number of recoveries has increased to 231,971.
“Most new patients can be treated without problems.But the spread is expanding the number of critically ill patients whose remedy is difficult,” Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on Twitter.
