Total number of coronaviruses in Turkey amounts to more than 250,000: Ministry of Health

ANKARA (Reuters) – The overall number of coronavirus instances in Turkey has risen to more than 250,000, with 1,233 new instances known in the beyond 24 hours, fitness ministry knowledge showed on Monday, as the number of deaths from the virus approached 6,000.

Data show that another 22 people have died in the last 24 hours in Turkey, bringing the death toll to 5,996, while the total number of recoveries has increased to 231,971.

“Most new patients can be treated without problems.But the spread is expanding the number of critically ill patients whose remedy is difficult,” Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on Twitter.
