Total increase in covid-19 hospitalizations

MIAMI – The U. S. Department of Health and Human ServicesThe U. S. Department of Homeland Security announced Tuesday that 4444 hospitalized patients in Florida had COVID-19, up from 4168 the previous week.

The knowledge also showed that 429 hospitalized patients were in intensive care units, up from 408 the previous week.

Florida has noticed an increased number of COVID-19 cases over the past two months as subvariants of the coronavirus have spread.

The Florida Department of Health on Friday released figures that appear to indicate the state reported 78,245 new CASES of COVID-19 from July 8-14.

Florida had surpassed 60,000 new instances in consecutive weeks and surpassed 70,000 instances in six weeks, according to Health Department figures.
