Toronto to Permanently Install 4 COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics at Fixed Sites

Toronto Public Health announces the permanent closure of its 4 on-site vaccination clinics.

Starting December 13, TPH will close its 4 vaccination sites across the city: Metro Hall in downtown Toronto; Cloverdale Mall in Etobicoke; the North York Civic Center near Mel Lastman Square; and Progress Avenue near downtown Scarborough.

TPH says these closures signify a transition in Toronto’s COVID-19 response, as provincial funding for emergency pandemic efforts comes to an end.

According to TPH, Toronto citizens will still be able to receive vaccines from major health care providers and pharmacies.

“Today marks the end of an extraordinary era for the city of Toronto, as these vaccination clinics close their doors for the last time. I want to thank all Torontonians who walked through the city’s gates to do their part and get vaccinated. ” Toronto said. Mayor Olivia Chow said in a news release Tuesday.
