CTV News has learned that the Timmins Police Service is investigating a “gun incident” on Father Costello Drive in Schumacher on Tuesday night.

In a news release, police spokesman Marc Depatie said firearms were involved in the incident, but said the investigation “is in its early stages. “

The judicial police are investigating.

“The scene was under strict surveillance by the Timmins Police Service, but has since been released,” Mr Depatie said.

“The Timmins Police Forensic Identification Unit is on site to gather and maintain significant evidence to aid in the investigation. “
