Dubai: Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has announced the opening of 3 other COVID-19 control centres. The new centers that perform the Reverse Transciptase Polymerase Chain Reaction Test (RT-PCR) will be in Al Rashidiya Majlis, Al Hamriya Port Majlis and Jumeirah 1 Port Majlis.
This brings to five the number of centers committed to the detection of COVID-19, the al-Shabab Al-Ahli and Al Nasr clubs.
Dr. Farida Al Khaja, executive director of Nursing and Clinical Support Services at DHA, said the three new centers had started operations as of Tuesday. Residents can download their nasal swab samples collected here for RT-PCR testing after completing the required registration and making an appointment. DHA 800342 free number.
The Dra. Al Khaja added that the new centers were ready in record time according to the highest needs and the most productive foreign protocols, said the centers will operate seven days a week from 11 a. m. 6 p. m. with a capacity of 550 exams per day per plant.
El Dr. Al Khaja said the expansion of the scope of COVID-19 testing is the result of DHA’s fear of ensuring ease of access to this vital service for others in Dubai and facilitating examination procedures for all, especially those living in residential density areas.
He added that DHA is frequently implemented to combat the global pandemic and provide the highest degrees of physical security for the network through its proactive preventive measures, including the expansion of COVID-19 laboratory tests.
DHA has also increased COVID-19 detection capacity in Dubai’s public and fitness sector to more than 78,000 tests per day.
