These Covid-19 vaccines are for access to Japan

Japan’s strict border restrictions are slowly being eased, but in reality, since, despite everything, the country has opened up to foreign tourists through guided tours. Along with the daily access limit, arrivals can now be exempt from arrival testing and quarantine regulations depending on the country or region they came from.

While it is not necessary to be fully vaccinated to enter Japan, travelers from certain countries or regions can reduce the quarantine time or skip it altogether by presenting a valid vaccination certificate upon arrival.

Previously, Japan accepted COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson.
