The Dominican Republic has lately more hotels open abroad than any other Caribbean destination, and there is more to come if everything goes well with the reopening of the country’s COVID-19.
The Dominican Republic first reopened tourism on July 1 and strengthened its access needs on July 29 by adding the requirement that all visitors submit an approved COVID-19 PRC negative check within five days of departure.
Those who do not have a pre-departure verification result will get an immediate COVID-19 verification drop in airports in the Dominican Republic, but will possibly also be quarantined if the verification is positive.
