From 6 to 18 November, the world will focus on Sharm El Sheikh, where the 27th consultation of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27) will take place.
The convention will be held under the theme “Together for Implementation”, and will be attended by more than one hundred heads of state, ministers, heads of foreign organizations and NGOs.
COP27 comes at a critical time, as each and every country in the world faces the effects of common and intense weather events caused by climate change, news firm WAM said in a report released Tuesday.
Earlier, on 12 November 2021, the Secretariat of the UNFCCC (UN Climate Change) announced that Egypt had been selected to host the meteorological conference, the report adds.
The report also states that the “Finance Day” will take place on the ninth of November, starting with the activities of COP27.
Finance Day will address the issues of “innovative financing” and equitable financing for transformation, the role of the personal sector in mobilizing monetary resources and its orientation towards environmentally friendly projects.
Participants will also gather on November 10 to discuss the problems of ocean science at an event, which will be held under the title “Science and Youth. “
Negotiations will also come with technical discussions, for example, to explain how nations almost measure their emissions, so that everyone is on an equal footing.
