Entrepreneur Daniels Ikajevs will launch what he claims to be the world’s first modular floating entertainment venue next year. Oceaya will be rolled out to stunning destinations during the global peak season, offering partygoers a new position to socialize over the waves.

Designed by Waterstudio. NL architects, engineers from Meyer Floating Solutions and designers from Prospect Design International, the expandable design can replace in length from 4,000 square feet to more than 12,000 square feet. The flexible design can also replace the shape and offers several other configurations. to suit any type of event. Oceaya can simply be a nightclub or a place to eat one day and a cinema or podium the next. It can also be mounted for weddings or other festive occasions.
“Oceaya is a testament to the endless possibilities of design and entertainment,” Ikajevs said in a statement.
Oceaya will also be “a beacon of sustainability,” according to its creators. The venue will be made from eco-friendly fabrics and sustainable practices will be applied. In addition, the Oceaya team will actively participate in clinical studies similar to local marine ecosystems, investment projects to combat the climate, replace and protect marine life in the spaces where the floating site operates. Researchers will also have access to the facilities on board.
“The concept of Oceaya was born out of a penchant for innovation,” adds Ikajevs. “In each and every task my groups participate in, we overcome the barriers of design and strategy to create concepts that the world has never seen; we are already on the hunt for the next venue, which will offer a new, different and immersive experience.
Oceaya’s design is none other than that of the Arkhaus floating club announced in 2022. The site on piles was originally scheduled to open in Miami in December 2022, but the launch was delayed until the following spring and is now scheduled for 2024. It is expected to start generating buzz in Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, and Asia in 2025. We’re keeping our hands crossed so you don’t experience the same lags as Arkhaus.
