“Our colleagues are targeting a singles vaccine, the peptide vaccine, their clinical trials are being completed.September 30 is the deadline,” said Anna Popova, head of public fitness surveillance Rospotrebnadzor, according to RIA news agency.
Previously, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said clinical trials of the coronavirus vaccine in Russia should be completed by the end of September.
“Another 14 people were vaccinated in the first phase and another 43 in the phase at the time.Forty-three more volunteers from the placebo control organization won a placebo,” said one Russian official, according to Sputnik News.
If successful, the vaccine will be EpiVacCorona, the control body added.
The watchdog added that all volunteers in covid-19 vaccine clinical trials feel good.
He also claimed that volunteers felt sensitive at the injection site, but other than that, they had no side effects.
Meanwhile, initial testing of Russia’s first coronavirus vaccine showed encouraging effects when the main points were published on Friday.
Nicknamed the Sputnik V Covid vaccine, it is developed through the Gamaleya Research Institute in Epidemiology and Microbiology of the Russian Ministry of Health.
In Lancet’s study, Russian researchers reported on two small trials, involving 38 healthy adults over the age of 18 to 60, who gained immunization in two parts.
The report says knowledge shows that the vaccine is “safe, well tolerated and causes serious adverse occasions in healthy adult volunteers.”
Russia said commercial production of its edition of the vaccine is expected as of this month.
Russia’s most sensitive leaders, adding Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, have already won the country’s covid vaccine, Sputnik News reported.
