The rate of coronavirus infection in Israel exceeds 10%

Israel took a milestone of concern as the country’s coronavirus infection rate exceeded 10%, fitness ministry statistics showed Sunday morning.

The Ministry of Health said that while only 1,493 more people tested positive on the last day, the rate of contagion remains alarming as the number of tests performed fell to 15,837.

The branch said that one in 10 tests positive.

445 patients are severely indexed and 119 require respiratory assistance. The number of deaths from coronavirus-related headaches is 1010.

According to weekly figures published through the Ministry of Health, Yerushalayim still has the number of new coronavirus cases, with 1,738 diagnoses recorded in the capital. Then came Bnei Brak, with 875 cases reported last week, followed by 679 in Ashdod, 481 in Modi’in Iillit and 474 in Beit Shemesh.
