MANILA, Philippines (AP) — The Philippines has recorded 6,346 additional cases of COVID-19 and showed 243 deaths in the past week, the Health Department said Monday.
Cases averaged 907 from Oct. 31 to Nov. 6. The figure is 30% lower than the number of infections recorded last week.
Of the new cases, two had a serious and critical illness.
Lately there are 640 patients with serious diseases. They accounted for 9. 9% of total COVID-19 admissions in the Philippines.
DOH knowledge showed that 20. 6% of the 2437 ICU beds nationwide were in use on Sunday, while 24. 3% of the 21,181 non-ICU beds were occupied.

The fitness branch also verified 243 deaths in the past week. Of these, 28 deaths occurred between October 24 and November 6.
The DOH verified 242 deaths in the last week. Of these, 29 occurred from September 12 to 25.
More than 73. 58 million Filipinos have completed COVID-19 vaccination. However, 20. 65 million won received booster shots.
Last week, education and hard work departments announced that wearing a mask is no longer mandatory in schools and workplaces.
