PARIS (Reuters) – The number of COVID-19 patients in intensive care groups (ICSOs) in French hospitals increased for the time being on a consecutive day, reversing a downward trend that had lasted 16 weeks, the knowledge of the ministry of fitness showed Tuesday.
The ministry said in a statement that the number of others in extensive care increased from 4 to 388, after expanding to thirteen on Monday. No knowledge of the ICU was reported over the weekend.
The number of other people in extensive care has declined almost often every day since peaking at 7,148 on 8 April, with the exception of two one-day increases in July, followed by a resumption of the downward trend.
By July 30, the number of other people in resuscitation had increased to 1 and 16 on July 15.
The ministry also stated that the number of coronavirus infections shown had an extra higher than 1039 to 192,334 in the last 24 hours and that the total number of others hospitalized for respiratory diseases fell from 36 to 5,162.
The number of deaths from the virus in France increased from two to 30,296, the lowest figure in a day since the start of the pandemic in mid-March.
Earlier on Tuesday, the government’s main clinical framework warned that a wave of the pandemic is expected to hit France in the autumn or winter.
