The number of foreign visitors to Japan in June topped 100,000 for the third straight month after border measures were eased, the government’s initial knowledge revealed on Wednesday.
Arrivals in the month of 120,400 were more than 10 times higher than in June 2021, but still 95. 8% less than in the same month of the year before the 2019 pandemic, according to the Japan National Tourism Organization.
