The number of Covid-19 cases in India has surpassed the mark of 82 lakh, while the number of other people recovering from the disease has increased to 75. 44 lakh, bringing the national recovery rate to 91. 68%, according to the knowledge of the Ministry of Health on Monday.
The total number of coronavirus cases increased to 82,29,313 and another 45231 people tested positive for the infection in one day, while the death toll rose to 1,22,607 with 496 new deaths, with knowledge updated at 8 a. m.
To date, another 75. 44,798 people have recovered from Covid-19, bringing the national healing rate to 91. 68%, while the jurisprudence rate has been recorded at 1. 49%.

The number of active instances of Covid-19 remained below six lakh for the fourth consecutive day.
There are 5,61,908 active coronavirus cases in the country to date, representing 6. 83% of the total number of cases, according to the data.
India’s Covid-19 count had passed the mark of 20 lakh on 7 August, 30 lakh on 23 August and 40 lakh on 5 September, went from five0 lakh on 16 September, 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October and crossed 80 lakh on 29 October.
According to the ICMR, a cumulative total of 11,07,43,103 samples were up to 1 November, with 8,55,800 samples on Sunday.
The 496 new deaths come with 113 deaths in Maharashtra, 59 in West Bengal, 51 in Delhi, 49 in Chhattisgarh, 30 in Tamil Nadu and 28 in Kerala. Of the 1,22,607 deaths recorded in the country to date, 44,024 are from Maharashtra, 11,192 from Karnataka, 11,152 Tamil Nadu, 7051 Uttar Pradesh, 6,900 West Bengal, 6,706 Andhra Pradesh, 6,562 Delhi, 4,214 Punjab and 3721 Gujarat.
The Ministry of Health noted that more than 70% of deaths are due to comobility.
“Our figures are being reconciled with the Medical Research Council of India,” the ministry said on its website, adding that the distribution of figures across the state is a matter of verification and reconciliation.
