CoVID-19 advances in Canada (still in the east):

Ontario recorded 1,050 new instances of COVID-19 today, a new record for the province.
The government also reports 14 deaths more similar to the new coronavirus.
According to Health Minister Christine Elliott, 408 of the new instances are in Toronto, 212 in the Peel region, 86 in halton, in the York region, and 57 in the Durham region.
Ontario says it has conducted about 25,300 tests since its last report.
The most recent figures bring the total number of instances in the province to 78,705, adding 3,166 deaths and 67,244 resolved instances.

Quebec reports 871 new COVID-19 infections and 34 deaths attributed to the new coronavirus, five of which occurred in the last 24 hours.
Health officials said the number of other hospitalized people had increased from 27 to 526 and that another 85 people were in intensive care, an increase of four.
Authorities say 920 more people have recovered from COVID-19, for a total of 93,316.
The province reported a total of 108,889 COVID-19 infections and 6,317 virus-related deaths.

Federal conservative leader Erin O’Toole said restaurants were recovering from COVID-19 restrictions and 60% warned they could close until the end of the year.
He also says governments want to provide more data on the precise location of the new coronavirus, as restaurants appear to be high-risk locations.
Ontario banned indoor seating in bars and restaurants in Toronto and most of its suburbs and in Ottawa weeks ago, in reaction to a strong build-up of COVID-19 cases.
Ottawa Medical Health Officer Dr. Vera Etches says her fitness is involved and that this can lead others to meet in personal homes, which can be more complicated than public establishments that have smart protective practices.

A dance studio east of Vancouver is the last primary COVID-19 outbreak in British Columbia.
Fraser Health says the Capella Dance Academy in Chilliwack voluntarily closed last Wednesday after 26 other people tested positive for the new coronavirus.
The academy offers a variety of courses for young children and adolescents and has about a dozen instructors, however, the fitness authority specified the number of ailments between academics or staff.
It indicates that all Americans known as close instances and contacts have been told to isolate themselves and that fitness officers are also working with school districts in the domain to ensure that they are informed of imaginable exposures.
