The new add-on channel “Virtual Support” helps you with electronic ID card services!

The Kingdom of Bahrain is committed to simplifying the lives of its citizens by introducing a variety of online government services. One such service is the Virtual Support service, an additional channel intended to provide assistance in particular for services similar to ID cards. By providing hands-on help and streamlining the process, this service is designed for the overall user experience.

Provided through the Information and E-Government Authority (iGA), citizens can now easily seek assistance and recommendations related to a variety of ID card services, such as ID card renewals, first issuance of ID cards for youth under 10, and replacements for lost or torn ID cards. It allows you to access remotely, without the need to stop at an in-person service center. It also makes the experience more user-friendly and convenient.

To use the virtual assistance service, you can make an appointment on the iGA www. iga. gov. bh website, keeping in mind that you will need to have a valid passport and a valid residential address. You will then be able to attach one of the iGA Personal ID Cards, which will help you effectively complete your ID card electronic service without the need for a private visit. The new feature aligned with iGA’s commitment to constantly expand its e-services to better serve the public.
