Walla quoted a senior White House official as saying that at one of his meetings with Prime Minister Berkowitz, he introduced the concept of normalization with the United Arab Emirates in exchange for removing the annexation of the agenda. Netanyahu replied that he was willing to contemplate the concept if it was serious.

“We’ve been talking about this for over a year, but the factor of annexation has created the environment in which an agreement is most achievable,” the White House official said.
Regarding Cohen’s efforts, a member of the prime minister’s workplace said Thursday night that Netanyahu had called him and “thanked him for Mossad’s help over the years in building relations with the Gulf countries, which helped the peace agreement to be finalised.”
On Friday morning, the Twelfth Channel reported that several exes had called Cohen the night before to congratulate him on his work.

On Friday, Netanyahu also thanked Israel’s ambassador to the United States, Ron Dermer, saying he had helped succeed in the agreement. “He silently worked the scenes with wonderful determination and skill with his Emirati counterpart and the White House team to achieve this,” Netanyahu tweeted, referring to al-Otaiba.
Jerusalem and Abu Dhabi, who are a common enemy in Iran, already had well-established intelligence and security relations, which were kept secret but secret.
Joint opposition to Iran has been part of the resolution to normalize relations, and security agreements between the two states will continue and strengthen in the future, the Twelfth Channel said.

Israel and the United Arab Emirates announced their agreement on Thursday afternoon. They “accepted all the normalization of relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates,” they said in a joint with the United States spread through Trump.
Israel agreed to suspend the annexation of parts of the West Bank as a component of the agreement.
Friendly Arab states, Egypt, Bahrain and a Saudi official welcomed the agreement.
