The main cereal plant in Argentina restarts after the closure of the coronavirus

According to data published through Reuters, the oilseed factory and COFCO export plant in Timbues, Argentina, it has 12 employees who tested positive last month and are asymptomatic. Another 77 were also tested, all of which proved negative. The outbreak occurred at the plant’s sampling station, where agricultural products are obtained at the Timbues port facility on the Paraná River.

The closure of the plant, which employs another 350 people and has an annual grain and oilseed capacity of 6.5 million tonnes, began on July 27.
