A wing of the Knesset closed Wednesday morning after a parliamentary aides of a Member of the Knesset Likud (MK) reported on coronavirus symptoms (COVID-19).
A Knesset spokeswoman said the help had gone to the Knesset clinic and said he wasn’t feeling well. She was examined by a doctor and a nurse and sent to the hospital.
The MDA workers’ corps in full protective clothing was alerted to the scene and evacuated to the hospital.
“The MP has been closed until further notice,” the spokesman said.
Several MPs are recently quarantined after exposure to verified COVID-19 carriers. Jerusalem’s Minister of Affairs, Rafi Peretz, is the virus.
