NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is familiar with Turkestan’s socioeconomic development, Akorda press service reports.
The Head of State visited the new Zhibek Zholy park which covers 32 ha. It was built with that of the Almaty, Akmola and Karaganda regions. In this park the presentation of several projects carried out in the town took place.
The president reported on the progress of the structure of a new foreign airport in Turkestan, which will be completed and put into operation until the end of the year.
Kazakhstan’s Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources, Magzum Mirzagaliyev, reported on projects aimed at using the region’s water resources and Kaskasu ski resort.
The governor of the Turkestan region reported on the socio-economic situation of the city, the implementation of cultural projects and the investments attracted, he also spoke about the war against COVID-19 and the paintings of the center.
