The Jewish Labour MP disagrees with a colleague’s use of the chant “from the river to the sea”

Labor MP Josh Burns said he disagreed with his colleague, Western Australian Labor Senator Fatima Payman, about the “river to sea” singing.

“One of the things that I think is vital is that we want to be able to agree and disagree in a respectful way,” he told Sky News presenter Sharri Markson.

“Clearly, I don’t agree. This is a scenario in which the Prime Minister has set out our position on the song Rio al Mar, and I have the Prime Minister’s position on it.
