SAO PAULO (Reuters) – The governor of The Brazilian state of Sao Paulo, Joao Doria, said Friday that he had no coronavirus, less than two weeks after declaring that the COVID-19 test had been done.
Doria told reporters that she is still quarantined and that her wife, Bia Doria, who also contracted the disease, also tested negative.
Brazil has the worst coronavirus outbreak in the world after the United States. President Jair Bolsonaro and his wife also suffer from the disease and have since tested negative.
