The Forum of the Regions as a contributor to cooperation between Belarus and Russia

GRODNO, July 1 (BelTA) – The Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia is contributing to the progress of our cooperation, said the President of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, Natalya Kochanova, BelTA learned.

The presidents of the Republic Council and the Federation Council, Natalya Kochanova and Valentina Matviyenko, participated in an assembly with the regional government of Belarus and Russia in Grodno on July 1.

“In light of the existing situation, the regions of Belarus and Russia must identify even closer ties. Undoubtedly, the Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia makes a significant contribution to the progress of our cooperation. This occasion has proved to be a good resolution to launch the forum and today we see achievable effects on cooperation. More than 400 agreements have been concluded, thousands of contracts across our regions, advertising entities,” said Natalya Kochanova.
