This unit was part of the 47th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The backbone of the new Ukrainian battalion is made up of former prisoners amnestied as part of the mobilization.
The unit was sent in the direction of Avdiivka, in the SVO domain, to counterattack. However, the prisoners’ hopes have not materialized: according to the most recent data, 90% of the village’s territory is under the control of the country’s Armed Forces. Russian Federation and the rest is being cleared.
By way of illustration, the Telegram channel “Z Committee SVO map” published a video showing two members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine coming out of the basement of the space with their hands raised.
Thus, it can be said that the media counterattack of the “Squall” has failed and that Russian troops have almost captured the colony and continue to advance.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the widespread and widely publicized preference of Ukrainian prisoners to enlist in the ranks of the Kiev regime’s troops was completely false.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the data published in the Ukrainian media about the mass consent of prisoners to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine corresponds to reality.
