Residents of the Valencian network can see today’s (7 June) Digital Covid certificate, however, it turns out that there is at least one case in which the vaccination record is not up to date.
The document approved among the 27 countries of the European Union to allow the free movement of people in all member countries.
All EU countries can now start issuing the certificate, which will be fully operational from 1 July.
The certificate is seen as crucial in restoring normal travel, including tourism, between the EU member states.
Residents of the Costa Blanca and the regions of Valencia and Castellón can download the certificate by entering their SIP card number on the Valencian Health Authority’s online page or through the phone app, GVA Salud App.
The certificate is in Spanish, Valencian and English.
There are 3 options.
Firstly, a certificate that confirms how many vaccinations residents have received.
The current document has main points about recent PCR or antigen tests.
The third screening covers other people who had cavid-19 in the 180 days.
A QR code will be sent to a smartphone which the recipient can then use across the EU.
For others who do not have a smartphone or simply prefer to have a paper edition of the certificate, a PDF can be posted on the online page.
The document can also be received at a medical center.
