Ziv Shulman MD and Rony Dahan MD, and common collaborator Sarah Schlesinger MD of Rockefeller University, are all viral immunology specialists who are lately dealing with COVID-19 issues. Shulman’s paintings focus on cell dynamics and molecular regulation of adaptive immune response, and Dr. Dahan’s paintings focus on the effective purposes of antibodies in immunology and immunotherapy. Schlesinger chairs the Institutional Review Committee of Rockefeller University and the University’s Postdoctoral Training Committee. He collaborated for many years until his death with Nobel laureate Ralph Steinman MD on the subject of dendritic cells, which he discovered, to combat infectious diseases, such as COVID-19.
