Sky News analyst Michael Ware believes the tragic deaths of seven aid workers may simply be a “turning point” in the United States for Israel’s war in Gaza.
Ware’s comments come after U. S. President Joe Biden spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday (local time), expressing frustration over the incident.
“There may be repercussions on a global scale beyond the tragedy itself,” Ware told Sky News Australia.
“This verbal exchange between the President of the United States and the leader of Israel turns out to imply that the United States is indicating that this tragedy may simply be a turning point in the American war for Israel in Gaza.
“The White House called this attack outrageous and simply said that not enough attention had been paid to it and that the first priority was to protect civilian lives. “
