DUBAI – The death toll in Iran from the new coronavirus has risen from 119 to 21,020, a spokeswoman for the ministry of fitness on state television said Wednesday, and the total number of known cases reached 365,606.
Sima Sadat Lari said 2,243 new cases had been known in the last 24 hours in Iran, up from 2,213 the day before. (Writing through Parisa Hafezi; Editing via Jon Boyle)
