MANILA, Philippines – The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country reached 326,833 after the Ministry of Health (DOH) reported 2,093 new infections on Tuesday.
Of which 85. 6% have symptoms, 9. 5% are asymptomatic, 1. 6% have severe symptoms and 3. 4% are in critical condition.
209 new recoveries have been reported, bringing the total number of cured patients to 231,373.
However, 25 deaths were recorded, bringing the death toll to 5,091.
The DOH also noted that 22 duplicate instances of the total number of instances were removed after knowledge validation sent through the research laboratories, of which 11 were recovered instances.
In addition, 8 instances in the past classified as recovered were reclassified as death after final validation.
