YEREVAN, AUGUST 4, ARMENPRESS. The special COVID-19 branch of the Dilijan Medical Center in the Armenian city of the same name no longer exists as the epidemic weakens and the number of active cases decreases, the hospital said in a statement.
The special service that was enabled to treat only patients with coronavirus in this hospital is deactivated from 1 August, following the discharge of the last patient COVID-19.
“We are pleased to announce that due to the weakening of the coronavirus epidemic in Armenia, Dilijan Medical Center is returning to its general regimen of operation. We are proud to have had our little contribution in this tense and selfless war against this virus in the country and have done our duty with honor. We want to deeply thank everyone involved in these heroic works, doctors, nurses, all fitness workers, lab experts, food delivery men, other people and organizers. The COVID-19 branch of Dilijan Medical Center has been closed since 1 August. All construction has been disinfected and is functioning as general as before the outbreak and is in a position to receive more patients,” the hospital said.
