The airline launches new flights to a lesser-known holiday destination: home to a global temperature of 35°C

A NEW holiday destination will be for the British thanks to the launch of two new air routes next year.

Royal Jordanian has shown that flights will be operated from two new airports in the UK.

According to TTG Media, the national carrier is expected to launch flights from London Stansted Airport and Manchester to Amman in Jordan next year.

Flights from the UK to the Jordanian capital will depart from airports in March 2024.

Two weekly flights will depart from Manchester Airport to Jordan, while London Stansted will see four weekly flights to Amman, with a flight duration of five hours.

Existing Royal Jordanian flights from London Heathrow will operate as normal.

Located in the north of the country, Amman is the main access point for tourists to the country.

The destination has yet to become as popular as other more well-known tourist spots in the Middle East like Dubai, Istanbul, and Egypt.

The climate in Amman is quite mild throughout the year, but tourists can expect highs of 35°C during the summer months.

In addition to the new flights to Jordan, there are many reasons to visit, Petra adds.

Petra is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and a must-see for as many tourists as possible.

The ancient site was carved into sandstone cliffs over 2000 years ago and is now an archaeological site.

While most holidaymakers think of Petra as Jordan’s only draw, there’s more to do in the country’s capital.

Other ancient sites include Al-Siq, which is a narrow gorge and the one in front of the mentioned site.

The city of Amman is also adorned with murals, colorful graffiti, and bustling cafes.

Despite the ongoing conflict between Gaza and Israel, which borders Jordan, destinations such as Amman remain safe for travel.

According to the British government’s website, it is recommended to travel on a 3-kilometer stretch of Jordan’s border with Syria.

He said, “Politics in Jordan is stable. “

Royal Jordanian is the only airline opening new routes from the UK to holiday destinations around the world.

British Airways will be resuming flights from London Stansted for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic.

The national airline has announced that 3 new routes will depart from London Airport, costing £36 for a one-way trip.

Budget airline Ryanair is launching flights to Spain, Portugal, and Malta, from Norwich Airport.

As it stands, the airport only serves a handful of destinations, which means Ryanair’s expansion is wonderful news for East Anglia tourists.

The flights will run on Mondays and Fridays, according to aviation website Simple Flying.

Ryanair is also launching flights from Cornwall Airport and Cardiff Airport, with new routes to Paris and Faro among those announced.
