As the coronavirus pandemic escalates across the country, knowledge of Sunday, the recent high, indicates that there have been 938,503 cases in Texas, the most populous state in the country at the moment.
California, the state with the largest population, recorded 938,119 cases, followed by Florida with 812,063 cases.
The actual number of infections is higher, as many others have not been tested and studies recommend that other people might become inflamed and not feel sick.
More than 29 million other people live in Texas. State instances of 100,000 are 3,269. 84. By comparison, California, with more than 39 million other people, has a rate of 2,371,56 cases consisting of 100,000 inhabitants.
A wave of cases in the summer has flooded hospitals in Houston and along the Mexican border, but in the fall, the number of cases decreased and Gov. In recent weeks, new hot spots have emerged in places like the rural upper Midwest and along the U. S. -Mexico border in El Paso, where Texas Governor Greg Abbott has dispatched more medical corps of workers and equipment.
Last Thursday, El Paso County officials ordered the closure of non-essential activities for two weeks after medical resources in the area were outnumbered by COVID-19 cases.
El Paso County Judge Ricardo Samaniego said they were suffering to find space for the growing number of people who died and were installing a fourth cell morgue in the coroner’s office.
Samaniego said Monday that the county had an accumulation of more deaths that required an investigation.
For other people, the coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough, that go away in two to three weeks. For some, especially the elderly and others with existing fitness issues, this can lead to more serious illness, adding pneumonia and death.
