Tekashi 6ix9ine out on bail in Dominican Republic

A court in the Dominican Republic has granted bail to Tekashi 6ix9ine after he was arrested for allegedly assaulting two producers.

Tekashi 6ix9ine was released on bail in an assault case, allowing the questionable rapper to be released from prison in the Dominican Republic on Tuesday, October 24. He was released on $500,000 bail, according to Antena Noticias 7 in Santo Domingo.

Authorities arrested 6ix9ine in the Dominican Republic on Oct. 15. He was accused of assaulting manufacturers Cristian Anthony Rojas and Nelson Alfonso Hilario García in a studio. According to TMZ, 6ix9ine was allegedly disappointed that the manufacturers were spending time with his friend Yailin La Más Viral.

6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, allegedly tried to leave the country after the attack. He was arrested through a charter company, which checked to see if there were any notable warrants for his arrest. Police arrested the 27-year-old artist at the Balcones del Atlántico Hotel in Sanchez. The authorities transferred him to the province of La Vega.

A court in La Vega granted 6ix9ine bail but issued a restraining order to keep him away from his alleged victims. He also ordered himself to submit to anger management.

6ix9ine celebrated his release in a video posted to Instagram Stories. He thanked his Dominican followers by speaking to them in Spanish. A large organization of enthusiasts had gathered outside the criminal to call for his release.
