Ted Nugent is trending on Twitter right now. And it’s not because of the singer-songwriter’s music.
When Nugent gave the impression in a video posted on Facebook Live on April 7, he didn’t communicate much about his song “Cat Scratch Fever. “hospital and killing you: Covid-19. After all, you’ve probably been wondering all this time: “Well, I need to know what Ted Nugent has to say about Covid-19. Well, the Facebook Live video featured a smart deal, a 19-to-one. Nugent not only communicated about Covid-19. He also communicated about Covid 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18.

You have to ask yourself how you could have missed all those covid-19s. The world has had a lot of pandemics and hasn’t invited you?Was this the mother of all 18-year-old cover-ups?
When Nugent said one to 18, he might not mean there were 18 other Covids like Covid-19, did he?
Oh, though, it seems he did. To underline his point, he added: “Covid-1, and there is a Covid 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 – Covid one to 18 did not prevent anything yet wow, Covid-19!Yes, Nugent has meant everything to you.
Hmm, if your commonsense counter thinks there have been 18 other pandemics, it might need a little recalibration. The “19” in “Covid-19” does not mean the 19th of Covid or the 19th pandemic caused by the coronavirus. It would be like saying that the Philadelphia 76ers arrived after 75 other basketball franchises in the city of brotherly love. Or that the song Summer of ’69 preceded 68 other songs of this type. The same would apply to other reasons why you can use the number. 69. (By the way, the summer of ’69 might not have been around the year 1969. )

Umm, why on earth would a medical examiner have to list a knife death as a Covid-19-like death?Does Nugent suggest that coroners around the world are coordinating in a grand conspiracy?To what end? Heck, some medical examiners can’t even coordinate their own clothes.
Now, not everyone may know who Nugent is, as evidenced by the following tweet that asked “What is a Ted Nugent?”:
A Ted Nugent is not a scientist. A Ted Nugent is not a medical professional. A Ted Nugent is not a public fitness expert. He’s a guy with comments about the pandemic that don’t seem to match the clinical facts.
This wasn’t the first time Nugent’s had made surprising comments. For example, according to Tom Lyons who wrote for the Florida Times Union, Nugent stated in the past, “Foreigners are scum. I don’t like them. I don’t need them in this country. I don’t need to be sold donuts. I don’t need them to pump my gas. It’s not very good. The big question is what does Nugent oppose donuts?
