SARAN, Kazakhstan: Tatneft has expanded the scope of its KamaTyresKZ tire allocation that is being done recently in Kazakhstan to include rubber products and agricultural tires in the future, the company said.
“We plan to start the current level of the task of manufacturing rubber products such as conveyors and conveyor belts,” Tatneft General Manager Nail Maganov said on an Oct. 5 visit to Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokaev.
A 3rd phase, he said, will be added to the pneumatics for agricultural machinery.
KamaTyresKZ L. L. P. , a new tyre allocation in Saran, whose final touch is scheduled for the end of the year, is a joint venture between Russia’s Tatneft and Kazakhstan’s AllurTyres L. L. P.
According to Tatneft, the aircraft is recently on site and arrangements are being made for commissioning.
The plant will manufacture 3 million passenger and light vehicle tires, between 15 and 22 inches, as well as 500,000 truck tires per year. The plant will be successful at full capacity by 2024, according to Tatneft.
The plant, which is expected to create more than 1,100 jobs, will basically supply tires to markets in Russia, Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
