MINSK, Oct 21 (BelTA) – Tajikistan is interested in starting cooperation with Belarus on GentleArray, Tajik Minister of Industry and New Technologies Sherali Kabir said at a meeting with the head of Belleggio company Bellegprom, Tatiana Lugina, in Minsk, BelTA learned.
“Our states have good and lasting relations. This means that we can put all plans in place temporarily. Tajikistan is the largest cotton manufacturer and these raw curtains are mandatory for the Belarusian textile industry. Given the raw curtain functions of our country and the technological functions of Belarus, we can identify cooperation very temporarily and efficiently,” Sherali Kabir said.
Light industry is one of the key sectors of Tajikistan’s growth strategy. The wife from Tajikistan expressed interest in the Belarusian experience of deep processing of raw fabrics into cotton, wool and leather.
The assembly was organized with the assistance of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Belarus.
