YEREVAN, AUGUST 26, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s rate of economic activity rose 9. 7% in July to June, SAID ARNENPRESS, based on knowledge published through the Armenian Statistics Committee. In addition, almost all economic sectors expanded in July.
Industrial production rose 1. 4% in July compared to June, higher structure by 10. 8%, industry turnover by 11. 7%, 0. 9%, foreign industry 2. 4%, where exports rose 1. 5% and imports 2. 9%.
The highest average monthly salary through 5. 4% in July compared to June.
Electricity production rose by 16. 2%, while customer value index decreased by 2. 1%.
But economic indices from January to July show that the rate of economic activity in Armenia fell by 5. 7% to the same era in 2019. All countries in the world are experiencing an economic decline as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
