Suspicions arose after Sweden “prevented” an official joint investigation into the Nord Stream pipeline leak. A prosecutor investigating the incident said such a settlement would force Stockholm to a percentage of data deemed confidential. This has led commentators to what precisely the country hopes to hide.
Mats Ljungqvist, who is in the Swedish thief’s investigation into Nord Stream’s leaks in the Swedish economic zone, said Stockholm had rejected the proposal of a joint investigation team from judicial cooperation firm Eurojust.

Ljungqvist said the countries are already cooperating in investigating leaks in the pipeline.
