Allied BioScience’s next-generation coating provides surface coverage in the opposite fight to COVID-19 as Texas corporations reopen
DALLAS, August 24, 2020 /PRNewswire / – In reaction to COVID-19, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved a public fitness emergency exemption waiver for Allied BioScience filed through the Texas Department of Agriculture. Approval enables the use of SurfaceWise2 among Texas-based consumers to provide continuous effectiveness in protecting against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
Allied BioScience’s SurfaceWise2 coating is now the first and only EPA-approved surface coating for continuous use to protect against COVID-19 with a single application. With EPA approval, the Texas Department of Agriculture won an exemption that allowed Texas to access the first state in which a segment 18 emergency waiver was approved for SurfaceWise2. Allied BioScience is applying this emergency waiver in all 50 states.
