COVID-19 has hit nonprofits hard this year, preventing them from having the funds, materials and gadgets they want to satisfy the wishes of animals. Tomten Farm and Sanctuary, Becky’s Gift, Live and Let Live Farm Rehabilitation Rescue and Sanctuary and Upreach Therapeutic Riding Center are all 501c3 organizations that gain advantages from animals and others in a variety of ways. They bring joy, peace and opportunity to lives in their care.

Tomten Farm and Sanctuary is an approved 501 (c) (3) that provides peace, cover, and opportunity to animals in need. Helping animals, assisting humans, and making dreams come true one life at a time through rescue, sanctuary, adoption, and education. Founded on January 1, 2014, it is a 100% volunteer organization funded through donors. They focus on guilty and sustainable practices that allow them to be there for those who want them today and make sure they will be there tomorrow. Located in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, they create a home for those in need. They have more than 50 rescues, adding horses, goats, cows, sheep, pigs, donkeys, cats and poultry. Each has its own story, each one stored in what would have been a terrible fate. As an animal welfare organization, they are inclusive and welcoming to all who love animals, making the world a bigger place. They are advocates, not activists, and no matter where you are on your non-public journey, they open their arms to you. Gradually consciousness grows, replacement occurs and miracles occur and it is an honor for them to share this journey.
Becky’s Gift provides short-term assistance to horses in need. Becky was born on April 1, 1982, and raised in Bow, NH. At the age of eleven, Becky began showing horses under the tutelage of Deedee Ludlam of Bear Brook Stables in Allenstown. He had a special Morgan mare named Gradell’s Delight. Becky and Daisy have appeared all over NH, max at Deerfield Fairgrounds. They have participated in the Junior Exhibitor Hack and Morgan Pleasure Junior to Ride categories and have been named champions on several occasions. At UNH (University of New Hampshire) Becky discovered her love, archeology, and visited excavations in Belize, Bolivia and Guatemala. He was awarded a full scholarship to complete his Ph. D. at the University of California at Riverside, a leading school in archeology. Becky and Daisy died in 2005, Daisy in April, Becky in September. The bond between them was still strong. Becky’s gift was discovered to commemorate Becky and Daisy’s bond and identify their legacy. The foundation allows horse owners with short-term monetary distress to keep their animals by helping to finance hay, vet and farrier expenses.
Live and Let Live Farm Rehabilitation Rescue and Sanctuary is an animal shelter that saves abused and unwanted animals, basically cares for horses, pregnant and cats, give them a transient or permanent position to interact with people. to locate houses suitable for rehabilitated animals. Animals deemed not adoptable will get lifetime care on their farms.
The Upreach Therapeutic Riding Center is committed to inspiring hope, selling autonomy and the physical, emotional and mental well-being of others with disabilities and others without disabilities by associating with the strength of a horse.
