TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan’s chief secretary Yoshihide Suga said Saturday that he strongly supported bank governor Haruhiko Kuroda and sought to see additional easing policies, Nikkei Business reported.
Suga’s comments, a favorite to succeed Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in a leadership race either late this month, were made in an interview with Nikkei, the online newspaper reported Saturday.
