INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Health said 506 other Hoosiers residents had been diagnosed with COVID-19 tests at isDH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and personal laboratories. This brings to 82,336 the total number of Indiana citizens known to have the new coronavirus as a result of corrections on the previous day’s board.
A total of 2968 Hoosiers were shown to have died as a result of COVID-19, an accumulation of 14 from the previous day. An additional 212 likely deaths in clinical diagnoses were reported in patients for which no positive tests were reported. Deaths are reported when knowledge is obtained through IGH and occurs over several days.
To date, 934,033 singles tests have been reported to the IHSHR, up from 928,614 on Tuesday.
Bartholomew County reported 941 cases Wednesday (up to five) with 49 deaths (up to one).
